Arts Alliance Tulsa’s most prominent annual fundraising event, Holiday Art in the Park, is made possible by the generosity of our sponsors and is offered to the community free of charge. Last year’s event featured photo opportunities with Santa and the Grinch, live performances from the main stage, and a street festival with holiday treats, art and activities.
Collaborations with AAT’s member organizations and local social service non-profits ensure that people of all ages, races, ethnicities, and income levels can access this free community-enhancing event. Our first year saw an estimated 1,500 participants.
·Attendees enjoyed hot chocolate and holiday treats prepared and distributed by Hale High School’s culinary program
·Tulsa Modern Quilt Guild created over 100 one-of-a-kind infant quilts distributed by Emergency Infant Services the night of the event ·Gaining Ground handed out hundreds of free books to youth
·Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art gave away over 500 dreidels
·Greenwood Cultural Center educated families about Kwanza and offered free Kwanza ornaments
·Eight visual arts-focused members provided hands-on holiday crafts to take home
·Seven performance-focused AAT members offered three hours of local entertainment
·Hundreds of letters to Santa were written and delivered via Santa’s mailbox
·Nine social service partners provided needed information on free services to our community, along with fun and healthy giveaways
The first annual Holiday Art in the Park was successful thanks to our sponsors and partnership with Guthrie Green. It not only offered an evening of free entertainment and holiday tradition to hundreds of our neighbors, but it also fulfilled the mission of Arts Alliance Tulsa to provide financial support to 40 local non-profit arts organizations.
In our second year we are excited to see the list of community partners growing! As our partners continue to grow, the more impact we can make on the arts and on our community. Thank you, partners for joining us in this great give-back to Tulsa!

“AAT has greatly helped us to expand our programs, which serve at-risk students and families in their neighborhoods, with after-school music and mentoring. We are the only Music Mentoring Arts Organization that serves students after-school at their school sites, and do not bus them to another location. “
