Arts Alliance Tulsa Welcomes New Executive Director, Anna Inhofe-Hull

Arts Alliance Tulsa (AAT) is delighted to announce that Anna Inhofe-Hull has been selected as the organization’s next Executive Director, beginning January 1, 2026. Her appointment marks an important milestone as AAT prepares to enter its second decade of service to Tulsa’s arts and cultural community.

Anna is a familiar and respected presence within the AAT family. She first joined the organization during its formative years as Development Manager, where she played a critical role in building the early systems and fundraising strategies that helped establish AAT’s reputation for collaborative, sector-wide impact. Her work contributed to stronger collective campaigns, deeper donor relationships, and a growing recognition of AAT as a vital connector for more than 40 arts and cultural organizations across the region.

Following her initial tenure at AAT, Anna went on to serve as the Development Director for AAT and later as a Development Director at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. At OU Law, she strengthened major giving efforts, expanded alumni engagement, and helped advance long-term philanthropic strategies for one of Oklahoma’s leading academic institutions. These experiences broadened her expertise in donor cultivation, strategic planning, resource development, and community partnership—skills that align perfectly with AAT’s mission and the needs of Tulsa’s cultural sector.

Arts Alliance Tulsa Welcomes New Executive Director, Anna Inhofe-Hull

Arts Alliance Tulsa (AAT) announces today that Todd Cunningham, its founding Executive Director, will retire at the end of this year. After more than a decade of visionary leadership, Cunningham’s decision marks both a personal milestone and a natural, strategic next step for the organization as it heads into its second decade of impact.

Cunningham launched Arts Alliance Tulsa in 2015 with a bold mission: to unify and strengthen Tulsa’s arts and cultural ecosystem. Under his leadership, AAT has grown into a trusted backbone organization supporting more than 40 cultural nonprofits through collective fundraising, professional development, advocacy, and community engagement.

Her return to Arts Alliance Tulsa represents both continuity and forward momentum. Anna brings a deep understanding of the organization’s values and history, combined with fresh insights gained through her work in higher education and nonprofit leadership. She steps into the role following the retirement of founding Executive Director, Todd Cunningham, whose decade of leadership established AAT as a cornerstone of Tulsa’s creative community.

Inhofe-Hull shared her excitement about the transition:
“Arts Alliance Tulsa shaped my passion for building strong, sustainable arts organizations. Returning now, at the start of AAT’s second decade, feels both meaningful and energizing. Our arts groups are bold, imaginative, and essential to Tulsa’s identity. I’m honored—and deeply inspired—to lead an organization dedicated to lifting them up.”

AAT Board Chair, Bob O’Neal, expressed confidence in Anna’s leadership:
“Anna brings the ideal blend of experience, vision, and longstanding relationships. She understands the complexity of Tulsa’s arts ecosystem and knows how to bring people together around shared goals. Her leadership ensures that AAT will continue thriving, innovating, and championing the arts for years to come.”

As Executive Director, Anna will guide AAT’s next phase of growth—expanding collective fundraising, strengthening professional development and advocacy, and supporting the long-term vitality of Tulsa’s diverse cultural organizations. Her tenure begins at a moment of exciting opportunity, as AAT deepens its role as a catalyst for creativity, collaboration, and community impact.

Arts Alliance Tulsa is proud to welcome Anna Inhofe-Hull back to the organization and looks forward to the vision, leadership, and heart she will bring to its next decade.

During his tenure, AAT distributed millions in funding to member organizations, elevated the visibility of the arts sector, and championed policies that expanded public and private support for creative organizations of all sizes. Cunningham’s leadership was instrumental in establishing AAT as a national model for regional arts alliances.

“This is the right moment—for me and for Arts Alliance Tulsa,” said Cunningham. “The organization is strong, stable, and ready for its next chapter. I’m deeply proud of what we’ve built together and excited to see the next generation of leadership carry AAT into the future.”

AAT’s Board of Directors will announce a replacement soon, ensuring a thoughtful and seamless transition.
