We are one of over 40 United Arts Funds (UAF’s) operating in the United States.
UAF’s seek to raise money to provide ongoing operating support to local arts institutions. The funds we raise are presented as unrestricted grants to our family of local arts organizations. Each “Member Grantee” applies annually so we can assure our donors that each grantee has met all standards for non-profit status.
OUR VISION
Plain and simple, Tulsa’s arts and cultural treasures make local businesses boom. Our work at the Arts Alliance helps sustain 40 nonprofits that distinguish Tulsa from anywhere else in the world. Funding the arts always helps drive our local economic engine.
We take an innovative approach to preserving and protecting the arts, serving as a centralized fundraising clearinghouse that makes annual grant allocations to our arts partners. This kind of business model multiplies our impact in a cost-effective manner.
Our primary mission is to conduct the due diligence that gives our donors confidence in the criteria we use to vet and select our grantees. These organizations must have their 501c3 status, three years of continuous operations, an active board and a well-defined budget.
